Sharing my good days and bad days

12/29 Post-Christmas

Christmas is over… why does it seem as if we spend two or three months planning, preparing, decorating, shopping, baking… just for a day or two of celebrating… then it’s over and time to pack up all the decorations.

But for many people, it’s a time when depression sets in… the parties are over until New Years Eve, families and friends return home, and it’s suddenly “too quiet”.

Once the New Year passes, things seem to pick up at work, plus school and music lessons begin again. It seems to be just the days between Christmas and New Years Day…

Keeping busy is important. I try to plan ahead, purchasing several books just for reading after Christmas. And I begin knitting/crocheting right after Christmas Day, instead of taking a break.

What do you do between Christmas and New Years?
