Sharing my good days and bad days

Next Sunday my daughter will celebrate her 35th birthday!

Her relationship with God means she doesn’t celebrate the way many people do… no dancing, no drinking, no “partying”. None of us do this, so we are on the same page.

So what do we do to make it a special day for her?

One thing she has mentioned wanting to do is visit the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama… so we’re making plans to go sometime next weekend.

Hopefully a little surprise we are working on will pan out while we’re in Huntsville… but since she reads my blog, I can’t say what it is right now… if it happens the way we hope it will, I’ll be giving you an update sometime next weekend.

Whatever we have planned for Saturday and Sunday also have to remain a secret until after the fact. But if my readers have any suggestions, please leave your comments. I’d love to hear any ideas!

Just one more week…

… My grandson is still sick, so please continue to remember him in your prayers. Thank you!

God bless you!

Bet this is one blog you wish I’d waited a week or so to read… 😉

    I have a suggestion… No flying debris!

    • You just promise to be careful – and safe… and I will promise the same (although this time I won’t be driving).

Oh so I have to be the one to watch out for accidents.

And on my birthday trip too…

I’m shocked. Well not really. LOL! 🙂

  2. I have a 35 year old also, hope you have an incredible weekend. Will be praying for your grandson. May our Lord touch him, heal him, strengthen him and encourage him, physically, emotionally and spiritually. DAF

    • Thank you! Plan is to take him to doctors office in the morning if he’s still running a temp. But then continue on to his grandpa’s for a visit. And I will be in training all week for work, so will be missing my family.

      Prayers are appreciated!
